“Axle (now Uriah) is doing great, he’s very confident and alert. Please let me know when you plan to have another litter. I think it will be good for him to have a friend.”

*Update*  The Ketchum’s brought home their second 2J 2K Maremma Sheepdog in 2023!

D. Ketchum | West Point, Mississippi

“Thank you for such a wonderful puppy. She has already fit in so well. She is calm and confident and on our heels. Yesterday I was sitting in the yard with her, and a plane went overhead, and she looked up and tracked it . . . she is so smart! Even after working with dogs all these years, it still amazes me that what a dog is bred for can be so instilled in them.”

“Thursday night was crazy; she was on central time, Jim got up with her a few times, and finally, at 3:45, when I let her out, the baby Aussies saw me, and it was mom’s up, party down . . . what the heck, made coffee and zombied through work Friday. Last night, she only needed to go out once, crated her next to one of the girls, and she cried for a bit, then settled down.”

“Jim and I (and dogs) are heading to Montana in a couple of weeks to bring my daughter’s goats and barn cat home (somehow, her dorm will take the Aussie but not the goats!), so she will get to meet her goat friends soon. They are full-sized but gentle, and we will go slow. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I am always looking to learn.
Thank you so much, Kara. Your dogs are amazing. Hope all is well!”

“Angie is such a good Ranch dog; stays  next to us, checked out the wild turkeys and goat friends quietly, sleeps in her crate all night, got to ride on the UTV and did really well … love her so much 💕💕

“I just wanted to let you know Nicolo and Giovanni are amazing. They are great with my goats and just little loves. You’ve done such a great job with them. They don’t jump on people. They are great with our little grandson, and they give me kisses galore. I am so happy this has all worked out! You raise great pups.”

Dr. A. Rotter | Tallapoosa, Georgia

“Balto is doing fantastic!! He is so sweet and so confident. He is taking everything in stride and doing awesome!!”

“Balto did great last night!! We already did chicken chores this morning. And then we did an adventure walk around the perimeter of my property. I love him!”

K. Carter | Zephyrhills, Florida

“She’s doing fantastic!!! Can tell she’s an extra special girlie! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Everyone here is in love with her!!!”

“It was nice to meet you guys too! She’s an incredibly sweet girl! We already adore her and so glad to make her part of our family. She’s fitting right in! D. insisted she sleep on his side of the bed last night… that’s in a crate, on the floor on his side. Barely a whimper and right to sleep… had a fantastic first night.”

“She’s so cuddly and sweet and fun and playful! Really cracks us up when she does the thing where she puts her head down and the rest of her plops to the floor like a rag doll. It’s a very intentional flop to the floor sort of thing. Belgians don’t really do that… and it’s adorable! She also was just lying at our feet while working in the kitchen last night. Resting her head on my foot… D. and I were standing side by side work… and he says NO, she’s laying at my feet! lol, J. wants to steal her and take her to his house… goodness!!! All I can say is THANK YOU!!!”

“When D. says, “Let’s go do chores,” she trots over to the front door, ready to go. It’s so cute! She thought the pigs were a bit freaky but is getting braver. They make such funny noises when hungry! She’s adorable with the chicks and chickens. Doesn’t even seem to notice the rabbits. Such a sweet girl! Thanks for letting her be part of our lives!”

N. May | Towanda, Kansas

The puppies did perimeter walks and met the farm animals today. They did really good with the goats/chickens/etc. They just watched them and observed.

The Shannon’s have three 2J 2K Maremma Sheepdog puppies, the kids and I delivered two puppies in 2019, and Jason delivered a six-month-old puppy in 2023.

2019- “The puppies are perfect and very happy…… Greta (aka Foxface) and Frado stay busy guarding barn cats and keeping the coyotes off the property.  We go on an official “walk-about” every morning, and sometimes (as in one of the videos), we join the house dogs for a romp in the dog park…..still can’t forget the little Border Collie pup you were shipping to Puerto Rico when you delivered our pups…..I called it Possum…… maybe one day …..”

“The “Pups” are doing great. They know their job, and they do it well.  Frado, the male, is a big boy and very sweet. Greta, the female, is super smart and more strong-willed. She tells Frado what to do. They get a daily morning walk of the perimeters that they guard with my husband, Mike. He loves that morning time with them. They love the barn cats, and the cats love the Maremmas.  The cats sleep in the stall with the dogs in the daytime.  At night the dogs are on guard against the coyotes. We are very pleased with these dogs.”

2023- “Talvi is doing great. Thanks for the perfect puppy for us . . . it was nice to meet Jason.”

“Talvi is getting along well with Gina, goats, and grandkids.”
